Cardboard Canoe Race
Without a
doubt, a perennial favorite! The rules
are simple; given two sheets of cardboard and a roll of duct tape, create a
canoe that will make it to the center of the river and back. Registration takes place throughout the day
(supplies are limited) and construction begins at 3:30 PM. The race takes place at 4:00 PM. Teams can consist of two people in the boat
and with unlimited assistance during construction. Regardless of whether you participate or
not, this is a must-see event!

If you would like to volunteer to help us with this event send mail to Pete
Carson (pbcarson@charter.net). Volunteering with this fun group of people is a
very rewarding experience!
